There is no visa on arrival application for Turkish citizens in Dubai. A Dubai e-visa application must be made prior to travel. What Are the Types of Dubai Visas?

Dubai visa types are divided into 4 main groups based on the duration of stay, regardless of the primary purpose of travel. These are; 30-day single entry, 30-day multiple entry, 90-day single entry, and 90-day multiple entry visas.

Additionally, there is a transit visa option that allows you to stay in Dubai for 48 hours, which you can evaluate based on your flight plan. 

30-Day Single Entry Visa

Those wishing to stay in Dubai for 30 days for commercial or tourist purposes can easily apply for this visa type. You can extend your stay while in Dubai, but the extension period is offered as 30 days for the first extension and 20 days for the second. However, you will need to pay 850 AED for each extension.

60-Day Single Entry Visa

If you plan to visit Dubai once a year and stay for more than 30 days, this is the visa type we recommend you apply for. 

30-Day Multiple Entry Visa

The 30-day multiple entry Dubai visa is valid for 58 days from the start date. During this period, the passenger can enter and exit the United Arab Emirates multiple times. However, it is essential to ensure that the last exit occurs on the 30th day or earlier. The total number of days spent in Dubai, including entries and exits, must not exceed 30 days.

60-Day Multiple Entry Visa

You can prefer the 60-day multiple entry visa if you plan to enter Dubai several times within the specified period. Many of the rules emphasized above regarding validity also apply to this visa type. However, unlike the others, for this visa type, you must apply at the following address upon entry into the country with your visa and passport:

Dubai Transit Visa

The Dubai transit visa is a type of visa granted to those who will use Dubai only as a transit point and will stay in Dubai for a certain time frame. 

The duration of stay is limited to 48 or 96 hours. However, during this time, you can visit Dubai, shop, or find a chance to relax.  This visa type is only for those wishing to travel to another country via transfer through Dubai, and the exit from Dubai must not exceed 96 hours.

How Many Days Does Dubai Visa Take to Process?

The processing time for a Dubai e-visa application is typically between 2 to 4 business days.  Applications made after Wednesday may take longer to process depending on the weekend's workload. Some applications may be subject to investigation and may take much longer.

However, official holidays in the United Arab Emirates, such as Friday and Saturday, will not be considered as "business" days. It should be noted that this detail should not be overlooked, and other special days and national holidays that coincide with weekdays may also be declared as holidays.

My Dubai Visa Application Was Rejected, What Can I Do?

When a Dubai visa application is rejected, you do not receive a letter explaining the reasons for rejection, as is the case with UK visa applications or Schengen visa applications.

You can only obtain information by contacting the officials of the center where you applied through the Dubai Immigration Office.

Why Is Dubai Visa Application Rejected?

• If multiple applications were made at the same time, your Dubai visa application is likely to be rejected.
• If you exceeded your stay duration during previous visits to Dubai, your chances of rejection for a new visa application are very high.
• If you have visited Dubai too many times with short stays within a year, your tourist visa application may be rejected on the grounds that you may be conducting commercial activities in Dubai.
• Your Dubai visa application may be rejected due to security concerns.

In the application for a tourist visa to Dubai, there are no other documents required besides your passport visual and your photo. Documents required for a Dubai visa include a few details regarding these two documents.

• 1 biometric photo (Must be taken within the last 6 months, on a white background, clearly showing the face and neck area. Large accessories that may obstruct the view, such as necklaces or earrings, should not be included.)
• Passport (The last 2 pages must be blank and it should be valid for at least 6 more months.)
