How is passport power calculated?

Each country's score reflects how many destinations its passport holders can enter visa-free, with visa on arrival, or with an e-Visa/ETA, without applying at an embassy in advance. The more destinations open to a passport this way, the higher its rank. This ranking is passport-agnostic: it compares countries by their own global mobility, not by any single traveler's nationality.
