How Many Days Does It Take to Get a South Korea Visa (K-ETA)?

The South Korea visa K-ETA is typically issued within 24 to 72 hours. However, during peak periods (especially in the summer), this duration may extend to 3-7 business days. 

Therefore, we recommend that you apply for your visa at least one month before your trip. 

How to Obtain a South Korea Visa (K-ETA)?

What is the Cost?

The fee for the South Korea visa (K-ETA), along with the Easy Travel service fee, is 100 USD.

Is It Necessary to Apply for K-ETA for Children?

No, children under 17 years old do not need to apply for K-ETA. Please remember that if they turn 18 years old by the date of travel to South Korea, an application for K-ETA will be required.

Important Warnings About South Korea Visa (K-ETA)

• Those who do not receive approval from K-ETA must apply for a visa.
• There is no Turkish language option in the system where K-ETA applications are made.
• Your South Korea visa (K-ETA) must be approved before boarding the flight.
• Even if your South Korea visa is not expired, you need to make a new application if your passport changes, your surname changes, or any other changes occur.
• A maximum of 50 people can apply at once.
• Your K-Eta document is valid for 3 years from the date it is obtained, and you can enter South Korea multiple times.
• If your passport has less than 2 years until expiration, the validity of your K-Eta document will be based on the expiration date of your passport.

How Do I Get to South Korea?

You can purchase a flight ticket to South Korea with China Southern Airlines with a layover in China for around 23,144 TL. If you will stay at the airport in China for less than 24 hours and will not leave the airport, a transit visa is not required.  However, if you wish to leave the airport, you will need a visa for China.
