Do Vietnamese Citizens Need a Visa for Singapore?

Vietnamese citizens do not require a visa to travel to Singapore. This means that Vietnamese nationals do not need to obtain a visa when entering Singapore. However, there are some important requirements and rules to keep in mind during your trip.

Passport Validity Requirements

When traveling to Singapore, your passport must have a validity of at least 6 months. It is critical that your passport does not become invalid during this period to ensure a smooth travel experience. Additionally, you should ensure that your passport is undamaged and has blank pages available.

Length of Stay

Vietnamese citizens are allowed to stay in Singapore for up to 30 days upon entry. This duration is determined by the e-Pass issued when you enter Singapore. If you wish to extend your stay, you will need to apply for a Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP).

Customs Regulations

Singapore's customs regulations are quite strict. There are some important points to pay attention to during your trip. Items such as food, beverages, and medications must be declared at customs. Particularly, certain food items and medications cannot be brought into Singapore.
