Oman for Brazilian citizens: visa-free for up to 14 days

Brazilian citizens can visit Oman without a visa for stays of up to 14 days. Longer stays need a visa from the Royal Oman Police (ROP) eVisa system.

Do Brazilian citizens need a visa for Oman?

Not for short visits. Oman exempts visitors from more than 100 countries and regions from entry visas for stays of up to 14 days, and Brazil is in the first group of exempt countries listed by Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Conditions of the visa-free entry

• Passport valid for at least 6 months.
• Return ticket.
• Confirmed hotel reservation.
• Health insurance.
• Enough money to cover your stay.

The stay is limited to 14 days and cannot be extended or converted into any type of residence visa. Your spouse and children can benefit from the same facility even if they are not nationals of the exempt country.

Staying longer than 14 days

Because the 14 days cannot be extended, get a visa before you travel if you plan a longer trip. Visas for Oman are managed by the Royal Oman Police. For tourism, the Tourist Visit Visa (Unsponsored) is usually the right option, applied for online on the ROP eVisa website. Other purposes need a different visa type.
